The Pacific Hotel Phnom Penh already had charm, great staff, central location and ambitious owners. What they needed was a rebranding exercise that would reinvent the image of the business and firmly put the hotel in a position where it could be competitive in the modern market. The result was the most comprehensive rebranding exercise we’ve been involved with as an agency. In terms of commitment, Blak Ink Media invested time and energy into every imaginable element of its design and user experience, not only online but also physically, including external signage and interior design.
The project started with design concepts that used the ‘pacific’ name to create a quaint nautical theme for the centrally located business. There’s more than a little irony involved, but the result is quite charming, and the theme is used throughout the hotel, from the beautiful logo to the naming of rooms and cocktails. The clean and functional website design provides an excellent user experience that includes the ability to make secure bookings online. Branding extends to social media profiles which initially benefited from strategies and schedules designed by Blak Ink Media. The entire website is also optimised to perform well on Google searches.
